best turbo for VQ30det

Hi everyone, I`m going to upgrade stock turbo (T-3) on my Y33 Cedric, and would like to hear your opinions on what turbo should I get, and it`s specs. I`m looking at 400-450 whp, and the car is mainly for street use.Here are the specs.VQ30DET engine, 8:1 c/r, 550cc injectors, fmic, mines ecu+avc-r, 6-speedAny help will be greatly uppressiated.Thanks

There are lots of T3/to4 variations out there. Go to Tubonetics website. Or, if you're looking for ball bearings you can go with the GT30xx models from Garrett. Just check out the compressor maps to see how much airflow they push.

Thank you for replyBut the problem is that I can`t read the compressor maps and don`t know how much airflow is needed . Do you think this turbo will flow enough for my setup? And one more time the car is daily driven.

Make it easy on yourself and get a GT40 ... Maybe even a GT45 ... a T78 will do just as nice ... Moving to a T4 would be your best bet.There is nothing similar to that car in the US ... that motor was never sold here in a RWD chassis. I want that VQ30DET for my non turbo Z.
