your going to have to narrow your range. a GT2871R would be best for the lower range (3-400) but will not put down 500. also what are you looking to spend, maybe a twin scroll GT3076 would be better

you need to spend some time reading up on what people are doing to their cars to reach goals. The way your question is written and the 2 posts you have is gonna make it very difficult to keep people for not flaming you. And if you are writing a question like that then you may not even understand the answers anyway.

300whp to 500 whp is a huge range and the top end will cost you quite a bit to hit. Determine what you want to do with the car first...if it s drifting you dont need 500hp, if its auto-x you dont need that either. And if you want 500 for drag then you also need to think about the rest of your drivetrain because 500 hp is worthless if all the car will do is boil the tires. The difference in power that you want is the difference in less than 2 grand to easily over 5 or 6 grand.

Welcome to NICO...look around and learn a little bit before posting quesions.

there's alot more then just the turbo you choose, its more about your budget and the type of driving you enjoy.

we cant really help you without more details.

gt2871r .863" exhaustenthalpy ecu740 inj272 hks camsfull boost at about 4300rpm

400whp easily

want something with a little better lower end???

gt2871r .643" exhaustenthalpy ecu555 or 740 cc inj264 hks camsfull boost around 4000ish

around 380whp

both of these number can be debated but they are good attainable numbers

if you pay attention to detail you might get higher numbers.....

if you buy the cheapest stuff you can find then you will not hit these numbers......

do the research and pay the money....you'll be happier in the end.

300-500whp with the best response/spool would probably be Twin Scroll GT30R.

With that broad a figure there's no one reasonable solution.

If you knew what it was like to drive 4cyl turbo cars with 300 and 500hp, then you wouldn't be asking this question, and not because you'd already know specifically which turbos to get- but because you'd have a vague enough understanding of the characteristics of turbocharging to know it's a silly question to ask.

Start off by trusting that 300hp will be more than fast enough for you, and then learn what the differences are between a GT28R and T3 turbo and how they effect torque curves vs peak hp and you'll begin to understand the answers to your own questions better than anyone could ever answer for you.
