I would strongly recommend that you get two sets of tires: one good summer tire for non-snow use and one set (mounted on cheap steel wheels) that are true snow tires. My experience with "All-season" tires, in snow, on high-power RWD cars, is not a good one - I lived in New Hampshire for many years!
So, for summer tires, I would recommend:
1. Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 - expensive, but worth it.2. Michelin Pilot PS2 - also expensive, but worth it.3. Michelin Pilot Sport - older design, but worth it.4. Avon Tech M500 - inexpensive and seems like a good tire (only available at Tire Rack:
http://www.tirerack.com).
There are other possibilities listed in my sticky on Basic Specifications - there is a post there listing many possible tires.
For winter (snow tires), the Bridgestone Blizzak and Michelin Alpine are excellent possibilities.
