If you mean the Goodyear RS-A, yes!! Stay away from them. A terrible tire!TXCumtrensh wrote:whatever you do, stay away from goodyear.
Tires are the only part of your car in contact with the road. Skimp here, and no matter how good everything else is, it is lost.paul c wrote:thanks for info. i am considering yokohama and continental now (good deals available).any opionions?
Infiniti needs to stop putting the Badyear RS-As on its cars.szhosain wrote:

See my thread on these tires. Mine happen to be 245/45ZR18 100W on new TSW 18x8" "Kyalami" chrome wheels. They are approximately $100 each less expensive than the top-rated Michelin PS2, and test and survey results put them at least as good as them.BadQ45t wrote:Bridgestone 050A Pole Positions are a little easier on the wallet than the Goodyears and they are damn good too.
Be sure to post up to the Infiniti General tire thread. Although RE50a are standard on Y50 Sport models, don't recall seeing any posts there.StarPD wrote:I've reported on initial observations and secondary. I'll continue reporting as I get more experience with them, but so far, I like them a lot.
Good point.I've been posting it all here, but will now go there and post my observations again.maxnix wrote:Be sure to post up to the Infiniti General tire thread. Although RE50a are standard on Y50 Sport models, don't recall seeing any posts there.
I used the Yoko AVS DB and the DB 2 on my '94 Q45t on stock BBS "lace" wheels. I liked them a lot.For the $80 each price, I considered it an excellent value. They were all "V" rated. They were quiet, had good wet and dry traction, and fair wear. They also had gradual and predictable breakaway and recovery.maxnix wrote:Just be re tehy aren't the dreaded YK420 from Discount Tire (and other names in certain states).
The only Yokohama I would trust is the db S2. And it is not a Michelin.
