I feel the same way. I'm looking for quiet tires that will last me. Not sure what to go with after reading ratings and consumer reviews.parkstr8r wrote:I want the quietest tire on the road...hard to make tales of all the reviews on TireRack...
I just ordered those Hankook.IlyaKol wrote:DWS's aren't quiet. I'm going to be ordering the S1 Noble2's myself soon. And the Cinturato's are evidently discontinued.
I had a set of the Conti Extreme Contact DW on both my Work's and my factory Sport wheels, and I really don't think i'll be going back with them next time. Initially they were quiet and handled very well, but towards the end of their life they are growing louder and louder. They still handle well, and surprisingly, for my car to be lowered to the height that it is, the tires don't show any significant signs of camber wear.Tiggaman wrote:Really tempted to get another set but also willing to give the Conti DW a try.

The Hankook EVo's are known for pulling, but I believe our cars are prone to do that regardless of the tire. My Michelin Pilot super sports (discontinued) pulled sometimes when coming to a stop depending on how level the road was in the last few feet of stopping. The Conti DWS are very good in wet and are a quiet tire, but they don't feel as connected to the road and respond slower than other tires I've used. The Hankook s1noble2's very rarely pull, but they still do it. These are my favs because they closer to the Michelin Pilot super sports for ride and handling, but are much quieter and less expensive. I haven't driven on Pirellis, but they are standard on the sporty Jag models so they must be good quality.jase1125 wrote:My 255's tended to grab grooves and pull the car more. At times it felt like I was fighting the car to keep it straight. That was with the Hankook eVo's. Going back to the Pirelli 245's improved that significantly. Slightly less cornering performance, but so worth the trade off.
