I picked up a set of 18x7.5 rims for the s13. Spare your OMG FTL comments on the width.

I want to make sure I don't get monster truck tires or ride on the rim. What tire size will fill the wheel well nicely? I've had 225/40 and 235's thrown around, but those were for other cars that suited them well.

Any suggestions?

40's are too tall for 18's. I think 350z's use that size.

But for 240s, I'd say go with like a 225/35 or something along those lines.

Don't know if you care or not, but keep in mind that width could be slightly different depends on who make them although tires are same size.

I bust people's chops all the time. Untill the new engine is ready, I doubt I need any more traction than what the 7.5s will give me in a whopping 140hp of fury

Well, I poked around some more, I can't get over how thin the 225/35s look. I'll go with the 225/40

Spanks!
