Best tire/rim combo for winter

Hi, I'll finally be a G35 owner in less than 24 hours (yeah!) The dealer is fitting my 2006 6MT with some extras. They offered a winter tire pkg. with 18" Dunlops and aftermarket rims for $1500, but I'm hoping to do better than this.

I may have a line on OEM 18" rims from a Murano and am considering putting on Dunlop Sport M3 tires. Can anyone give me an idea if these should work??

PS I've drooled over the G35 for years, but ended up with a more "practical" Accord. Can't wait to take my dream car out on the road!!

I put 18" wheels and Blizzacs on my 6MT for $2200CDN. Price includes storage for the summers so I don't have to haul them around in the back of the car.
