I'm so sick of having to say this. There is no such thing as the "best".

Do some freakin research on your own. But if you need a answer right away , there are companies like Battle Version , SPL , Kazama ect.

Caster. Lengthens or shortens the wheels base.

Stability at high speeds or more grip while cornering.

I'd look for ones made out of steel. I've snapped a stock rod in half. I don't see how an aluminum rod could hold up very well.

And what did you do to cause that stock rod to snap?

I can safely answer the original poster's question by saying SPL. They are the strongest, best quality, best heims, and offer enough adjustability to go from stock castor to upwards of 10 degrees. No other company offers that.

Im not sure how you did that to a STOCK tension rod. I did this to mine after crashed.

LCA was F'ed, but the tension rod only bent slightly.

I gave it a good whack with a curb, and mine broke around the inner stud. It's the weakest part, and it just might have been defective. My LCA looked like a boomerang though.

Now that I see both pictures though, I would say the S14 has slightly thicker rods.

I didn't say they were crap, I'm not even saying I'm surprised that it broke. All I'm saying is that it took quite a deal of energy to break that piece. Had it been made of aluminum, more of the impacts force would've been transferred to the frame.
