Aside from stock what would be recommended for everyday street use including potholes , uneven roads and such. Both Wheel and Suspension wise. Basically my main goal is to have a daily driver and look good at the same time with maybe 1 or 2 track events every now and then (maybe once every 3 months?) . Now I know that coilovers are overkill for daily drivers but what about springs? Since I am from NYC lowering my car too much would be bad. In NYC we have LOTS of potholes and roads tend to go up and down very often. I made this post to ask for advice on what types of springs should I swap out for or should I keep the stock suspension? I'm looking go purchase 17 inch rims but I don't know if they can withstand to the abuse potholes give. I already looked through the FAQ but the article offered is nolonger on archive. Basically heres the info that I'm looking for:
Suspension : Streetwise , meaning potholes , uneven roads , and short stops every now and then. Wheels : Once again street wise , factoring mainly the potholes and if the wheel would hold up.A bonus would be brakes. Are bid brake upgrades any good for daily driving or are they just overkill?
