What do you mean you can't research? Your'e online aren't you? TireRack.com is a great place to start.

Falken Ziex is a great tire for the price, i concur.

They are just a decent performance all season tire, they're a little on the soft side because of being all-season. If your'e going to do some drag racing, get something else because the Ziex's will get eaten up fast.

They're actually ditching the 512s nowadays for the 502. Basically the same performance as far as I can tell, but the 502s look cooler I guess :P

There is no such thing as performance from either of those tires.

Get Kumho MX's or Falken Azenis RT-615's or ST-215's if you can find them.

They aren't expensive and offer 10 times the grip.

nismo, if you dont consider 80-100 expensive per tire..jeez..im in the same situation as KFC, and im deciding on going with 205/60/15 ziex 512s because of budget issues.. they're $216 and some change for all 4 shipped to you (depending on where you live)getting them installed would be somewhere near $100, depending on location.. so it comes out to around $300. if you want grippy, but not yet expensive and performance oriented, i suggest the ziex 512s. or you can go test the new Fuzion line of tires that just came out (not sure)

anyways, the ziexs are 2thumb up for a daily driven car, IMO

I paid $91 per tire for Potenza RE750s. I didn't think that the RT-615s were that affordable.

i like my Kumho ASX's, come on now, an ultra-high performance mud and snow tire. 420 treadwear and AA traction and temp.

68 dollars a tire

205/60 and 195-60 were the factory options, but the 205-55-15 is a MAST and Yokohama approved fitment for both load and OD for the factory wheel. It also provides a nice selection of sticky tires than the factory "60 series" tires.
