ngk v-power plugs are the best but you have to change like every year or so. no big deal in a ka24. what does it take? like 15min?

i've heard bosch don't work well in nissans. personally I stick with NGK. thought about going to denso but after another guy had his ceramic section blow up in his sr, I decided to stick with ngk.

bosch platinum=no good. the old bosch super plugs were fine(not the bomb, but fine). bosch platinums, +2's, +4's, etc are no good. the electrode is in the wrong place(hold one up next to an ngk plug), the ceramic is weak, and they just fall apart in no time. if you want to use them then do this.1)take a picture of plugs and then install them2)wait two weaks, pull plugs, take another pictureif at this point you still have some center electrode on your plugs then you can put 'em back3)wait two more weeks, pull plugs, and take another picturei assume you have been driving the car during the two weekscontinue...examine the pics. can you see how the electrode is wearing quickly?thats why i hate those spark plugs. i have no problem with the denso plugs. i figure nippon denso is a good manufacturer right? well so is bosch. ngk plugs are just perfect.

I'm interested to know what kind of "good results" you experienced. Dyno?....or?

NGK Oem plugs, unless you're boosting..go with colder ranged plugs.

all others are waste of money

Absolutley NO HP gains from plugs

you can however loose horsepower with plugs. thats what the bosch plugs will teach you. put them on the dyno. mike kojima has.

edit: i believe mike k's writeup is on sentra.net

today i went into action autoparts to get some ngk v-powers for my car and they told me they are not the right appliation for it.. that my car has to run platinum plugs or something, they even showed me that theres i no v-power plug for 240sx in their little book that shows about the spark plugs.

It won't come up on their computer. When I buy plugs I just give them the code. The code for the V-power plugs is : BKR6E-11.

5 is the hot plug. its better for short trip driving and granny style driving. 6 is the normal plug. 7 is the cold plug which is better for long trips, hard driving, and hot climates.
