sorry if this has been asked before..i tried searching but no results. i wanted to go with 18's but was not sure if they would fit ok and if there where any problems reported with 18's cause of the excess weight on a vert. thanks

Are you buying tin rims? The weight of the convertible will effect the rims you choose. I've not heard of few extra pounds causing a rim to fail. Now if your putting some 18 x 7 cheap knockoffs on a H1 hummer... then you might have a problem.

As for looks... I've seen some nice 18's on a 'vert and I've seen some that just look a little big. I've got 17's on mine, and they actually look a little small for the wheel well.

Anything from 16's to 18's should be just fine depending on your taste.

17x9/10 +20 would be an awesome combo, 18 is kinda large and you gotta pull fenders and stretch tires to get a decent size/offst under the stock sheetmetal. Besides 18's weigh a lot and unless you have gigantic brakes they are completely unnecessary. are you going for bling or ?

no just something nice. but i think im just going to paint my stock ones. i have a teenage boy , a 9yr old and another one on the way. is going to be kinda hard to justify spending cash on rims to the wife cause i'll get the "you know how much stuff we can buy for the baby with that" speech anyone ever painted the stock rims? and what color would look good with a red vert?

RB motoring has some nice rims but you have to be careful, most of the offsets on there are off toyotas or mazdas and the offsets are too high to look good (or in many cases even fit) a RWD nissan... unless you want to have to purchase spacers make sure you double check offsets.

as for painting go with bronze, thats what my friend did for his stockers and it looked pretty darn good.

A guy I know here in houston is selling 4 17x7 +40 with good tires for $400 if you are interested. they are like advan 7 spoke knock offs.

and that's why you have to look at the offset!!!!

i just got my rims from them and there fine in really good shape $680 shiped to florida, for a set of work wheel's you cant beat that

I'd vote for 17's......I have 18's and they're nice, but harsh ride and I've lost a couple tires despite being careful.
