Hi everyone,
I wanted to find out what is the best exhaust size piping for the nissan tiida 1.8L (MR18DE)?
The only other mods i will ever do is a pod filter, and i dont want to loose any power at low revs.
I am planning on getting a Cat-back system Mandrel Bent with a Maganflow Hi Flow Cat, and an offset straight through muffler.
So how many people reckon i should get 2" or 2.25"???

based upon the average pipe on a CA18 muffler I would say 2".

If the car loses torque down low it's likely too big. Leaving the cat in might make the bigger pipe after a better size than 2"Most of the SR20DE and CA18DE mufflers use 50mm pipe though.

the stock exhaust is already 2" mandrel bent. just cut out the resonator and BAM!!! you got a cat-back. just change out the muffler and your set.
