What do you guys think is the best short throw shifter for the S14? Is the Nismo one from jspec.com any good? Or what about the Mr. C's? What do you guys have and how do you like it?

What makes you believe that the B&M is the best? How much does it reduce the throw? I have heard from a few places that the Mr. C's is the original and everyone has copied it, making it the best. I am inclined to believe that Nismo should know more about Nissans than anybody else and should be able to make the best shifter. Plus Nismo stuff is very rare in the US and gives you the unique factor.

*points to his Nismo shifter*wooo.. i am unique!hehe

I know that the B&M shifter is awesome in my friends mustang.. I would really love to see how one is in the 240..

the nismo shifter though, as soon as I installed it.. instantly happy with it :)the shift was much tighter.. shorter.. not super dooper short, but nicer..shifting felt really good.. i really forget how it was to shift the stock shifter, but I know it was worth the money.I paid around 150-180.. I forget exactly.I bought it from Yuri at http://www.srswap.com a while ago (like 1 or so years ago).. I am pretty sure they don't carry them anymore though.

the Mr.C's shifter I hear is very good as well.what was nice about the Nismo shifter, is that it couldn't of been easier to install.a simple C-clip and that was it.

Actually i believe the C's and the Nismo shifter are duplicates of each other. I love my C's the same ammount! Easy as pie to install. I would now rather pull the shifter to add gear oil than crawl under the car and go in thru the transmission! Check it out here: http://www.jspec.com/csshifter.htmlAs far as specs, i dont know how far it reduced the throw, but it is quite significant. You will definately NOT want to drive your moms 5spd anymore. :D
