best shift light for 2004 350z

I have been experimenting about in the range of 3500 to4500 but still cant find the right setting just curious what everybody else is runnig about and what rpm do you get the most out of the car

As for the shift light:It depends,are you wanting to keep it low for break-in miles?Or want your best torque curve for inclines?Or for maximum performance?

I set mine at 6600rpm (redline) so its starts flashing at 6100 (500 rpm before the setting) then I know I have to shift, so i wind up shift a couple hundred rpm before redline for maximum performance.

When I was driving the car in, I set the shift light at 4000 rpm that way it would start flashing at 3500 and I would always be able to shift at or before 4000 IAW break-in procedure.

Yeah one of the many cool features that the 350z has.

I have mine set @ 6500 RPM's, but hardly even notice it any more. I have just got used to the car and shifting at my comfortable shift points.
