Hello I am new to the board, and I have a rather specific question. I would like to state, that I have spent a few days hitting the search button before resorting to post here.

My car has been mine for only 4 days, but its already paid for.

My question is, what is the best street tire size, wheel size, and suspension setup (im assuming that I should go with coilovers.) For a car that has a projected goal of reaching 400 rwhp, (at least the most power an sr20det swapped engine could take without internal upgrades.)

My goal is performance, and traction. I am looking for the bext compromise of both straight lince accelaration and traction. As well as greatly improved cornering, heck something that could do decent in the auto cross. In a 240sx that would be pumping 400 rwhp.

Also would 300zxtt brake system swap be adequate for such a project?

what's up bro, everyone's gonna tell you to use the search button. but since I'm in the same boat, here's what I'm gonna go with.

17x8 front, same or 17x9 rear. most likely 17x8s, 235/45 front 245/45 rear.

JIC Flt-a2's, nismo bushings, (maybe energy susp.) front/rear cabon fiber strut tower bars (some show involved) suspension techniques swaybars (f and R), poss. adj. upper a arms or t/c rods

goddam right your gonna need to a brake upgrade stop that beast. I'm going with the z32 30mm aluminum pistons with brembo rotors, and trying to find z32 rear with brembo rotors, and upgraded master cylinder.

doing all suspension, trial and error over the next couple of years. then I'll think about the swap, but not for a couple of years. my goal is heavy autox, drift, some roadrace and drag. it will be my daily driver, so I might have to drive with a mouthpiece (hehehe) aiming for 350+hp, but this ain't gonna be for a while.

Yea, heh those that would tell me to hit the search button, apparently didn't read my first sentence off my first thread!

Only 245?s would that be enough thread?

Im locking this. Im sick of ambiguos questions by people who obviously didnt bother checking the FAQ. Im not in a good mood right now. Refine what you want, look around and check some other threads, AND THE FAQ, then come back with more realistic and pointed goals.

this is abous the most ambiguous goal ever. MOST PEOPLES GOAL IS BETTER TRACTION.

give us a price range, what you want to do with the car..actually forget it, Im amking a sticky since IM sick of this crap.-chet
