Best Rims for a '99 G20 (opinion needed)

I'm interested in buying some new rims for my car, but i'm not in the loop of name brands or what is considered the best.

(4 lug) 1999 G20 just for the 411. I'm interested in something black or black chrome mag style (not bigger than 17's). The only name brands i really know is American Racing and Oz.

Anyone have opinions? The car will be painted black or pewter (color of the Bucs helmet). I could also use some input for some good tires, something street quality, most likely low profile.

So.. that being said, got a link to a good page i could browse? Anyone know of a page where you can see what they would look like installed?

Discount Tires Direct has a program that shows the rims on your car.Me I think a set of 5zigen 5 spokes would look good, in a hyper black.Think there called FNR01-C.

Another good choice is Tirerack. They also have a preview software, a vehicle selector to show you what fits, and they're a NICO sponsor to boot.

Brands:

OZ might, but a lot of their wheels are gawdy lately.

BBS/ASA good stuff all around.

Motegi, Volk, Enkei all should have something along the lines of what you're looking for. I'd trust pretty much anything Tirerack sells to be quality enough to hold up on the road.

Remember that you get what you pay for. FYI, your bolt pattern is 4X114.3 and your offset is in the 40s. I wouldn't go larger than 17in in diameter as the tires will be VERY thin (not to mention expensive) beyond that.

Looking through the web page, it asks me for my model, and year, but then gives me a selection of all 5 lug rims when i need 4.

I was wondering if you knew how to bypass that?

edit: It also says it will come with necessary hardware such as a lug adapter. I have no idea what that is, does that mean i can put a 5 lug rim on my 4 lug set up?

Tirerack is giving me no such nonsense. The wheels I see are 4X114.

IMO, a lug adapter is quite a leap of faith.
