Dub PimpStars.

Cause they are digital and you can say anything and have pics on your wheels and tell hoes to call you, and to put coke logos, and this and that.

I don't know why it is that ppl consider a 17x9.5 wheel heavy at 20-22 lbs. I hear that actual LMGT4's are only like one pound lighter but double the price. This seems like average weight for a wheel that size unless you go with something really light, like RPF1's...

Now Mustang wheels and some Work wheels... those are heavy at around 25-27 lbs on average for some...

ZX88, he said looking. They look great, they match the car. I'd rock them all day long.

browse through Rota's catalog of wheels.. and you see

Desmond Ragamasters

RS watanabe 8 spoke.

Work equip 01

Nismo LMgt4 / Bee-R Bee 5 wheels.

Work Meisters

Knock-offs are copy cat look alikes of original designs and wheels,Killing the companies who actually develop and make high quality sh*t.

If you cant afford original sh*t... rock some custom 17 x 10 polished diamond steelies.

Don't get me wrong, Works and Volks put a big one in my pants, but I certainly don't have 3 grand to throw down on a set and probably never will. Even 1500 for used ones is out of my budget. If I can snag a set of nice looking wheels for cheap, why the hell not?

Lets me be more sensible.

There are a lot of Mid priced wheels - that are well made, made right here in the US, and that are not knockoffs.

I believe there should be a degree of intergrity in the auto parts industry. copyright infringement doesnt protect product designers so the only thing keeping it together is respect for the auto culture.

and real innovation.

Rota has no shame... they're in it, not to make original, high quality sh*t... they want to make money.

If I was the Chief designer at Rota and an exec told me to copy a popular wheel design and make a knock-off.

I would quit that same day and start my own firm. In fact thats what im secretly doing right now... all original high quality work. expect to see it in a few years.

I'd like to know where these mid priced wheels are? Most wheels I see are ugly, has the wrong offset, or are too expensive. The truth is, some Japanese parts are way overpriced. What makes a Bride seat so much more expensive than a Recaro seat? Why is a Yashio Factory radiator 3x more than a Koyo radiator? I'm all for originality and name brand, but I'm also not a sucker to pay 3,4,5,or 6 times to have the cool factor of having name brand. I have some Tomei cams, OS Giken clutch, and so on, but those companies chose to price their parts fairly. Had the Tomei cams be 3x more than JWT cams, I wouldn't have bought Tomei either.

For a budget wheel... some people need to get together and ask VMR to make the V710 in a 114.3... or just run a euro bolt pat and a 33 offset and run an adaptor... the rota's are everywhere... spice it up
