So, I want to take the spoiler off my car and I was wondering what the best products would be to use.

Also, if anyone knows what brand paint would be best for a maroon S14. I expect the dealership to charge a lot for touch up paint.

I just had my trunk lid holes filled / smoothed.

Best if you go to a body shop. They welded in discs of metal, ground down the welds and smoothed with a tiny skim of Bondo... Looks perfect.

I used Bondo and that crappy mesh stuff that comes with it. The big hole has been punched in about 5 times now. I have duct tape covering it as we speak. Get it done right, or be ghetto like me!

yea... I wasn't expecting to spend much, but I guess might as well do it right the first time around. How much would a reasonable price be for a body shop to get this done?

welding the holes then smoothing out with polyester putty is the only way the holes should be filled.

I paid $100 for the bodywork and $100 for the repaint.

Well worth it - it's perfect.

How about buying a used trunk without the holes? I am surprised no one offered that up.

yup, that's true, a used trunk would be great... but you'd have to find someone with the same color trunk, unless your planning on repainting the whole car again.

yo you could use what I am using. go to like the local pep boys/autozone/murrays or whatnot and get plastic fasteners, you know the ones that hold in your interior? just get the big ones, and you can line the inside with electrical tape til the time being. I dont get any leaks at all, seems to work. I got the idea from a buddy of mine who de-winged his integra type-r.

its just a custom dual exhaust with a 2 1/2 inch piping.

back to topic... i still think cheapest and most awesome looking is the fiberglass repair kit and flat black rattle can spray paint
