If you buy a 3.5SE 2008 you get 4000$ off with the nissan equity or whatever program. go apes and get a fully loaded one its gonna cost 36000$ instead of 40K like me when I bought it before the 4000$ off

Wow, Thanks for the info... I was aware of the $4000 cash incentive, they are also offering a $1500 loaded visa. I am really streaching my budget to get this car so all the info is extremly appreciated. The Invoice/Wholesale information is great but,, how do I use it? How much over do you think the dealer wants to make... 5%?

The dealer wants to make as much over as possible. For them, the sky is the limit. For you, it's your personal budget. That's why it's up to you to negotiate like a pro and walk away with the lowest possible price. Now, since the Coupe is already about 8 months old, I'm sure you can secure a price that is a bit above invoice and noticeably below MSRP.

Just to let you know, the $1500 loaded visa doesn't apply to the Altima Coupe. Only to the Altima Sedan and HEV. I tried to get the dealer to give me that but couldn't. It also says on the bottom of that bonus days ad on the Nissan Canada website.

The $1,500 does apply to the coupe. The Walkley dealer in Ottawa has the $1,500 on the front windshield of the car in the showroom. You gave me a bit of a scare.

really? i went to 417 infiniti nissan and they refused to give me the 500$ one for the 2.5 they told me it was only for the sedans but at the beginning their website never stated specifically for sedans or coupes but they changed it after awhile

Yes, the original offer was $500, increased to $1500 and added the coupe. I admit, after you told me I got a bit nervous and checked out the web sit ( given the sales person told me it covered the coupe). I could not find anything on the sit, other than to say "*$1500 bonus on 2008 Altima (sedan and HEV only) and 2008 Rogue; " . Then, like I said.. went to the dealer and there on the front wind shield is a giant $1500. Have you bought your car yet? If you did what did you pay, if you dont mind me asking

Thanks for the info. I guess what I am really trying to ask is what was the total price of the car they were asking, plus all the oprions you got. Then what did you end up paying for it. Like, you said you paid 31,500. What were they asking..

I guess you got if from 417. I went to see the blonde interior there, saw a gut named Gerry. Older guy.. Very nice.

What colour did you get? How do you like it? I am a bit concerend about the back seat. Anybody sat back there yet?

Dumb question but after I guess you cannot believe everything you read on the Nissan site. You said you got the $2000 off because of the Fair deal event.. My understanding is you have to pay cash to get it. Is that true or did you get the $2000 off and finace it through Nissan at 4.9 or 7.9.

Thanks again.

When I bought my coupe, I asked the dealer about the visa promo, they showed me a printout they got from nissan canada that excluded the coupe, but if your dealer is gonna give you the visa that's great (they might just tack on $1500 to the price of the car cuz they won't get reimbursed by Nissan canada for it)! As for the fair deal program, I can confirm it's only on a cash deal. If you're gonna be financing at a rate of 7.9, I'd say get a loan from the bank where the interest is lower and get the $2000 or $4000 discount.
