Nice find! Here is potentially a better deal on what is, in my opinion, a better tire:

Nice find!! :dblthumb:
About $770 shipped to my door minus $80 in rebate = less than $700!!
With all the hype about continental DWS no more, this is a great opportunity here... Only difference is Ventus rated a summer tire versus DWS all season... Winter is coming :gotme

Might be a better tire in sunny Arizona. But for the rest of us w/snow on the way the DWS is a better all around choice. Yes, it's on backorder for too many-but that speaks to its popularity. And yes for some herein it bleeds its rubber too soon. But then to me safety, utility and performance in all seasons is what the DWS is all about.

Yes, yes, dedicated snow tires are safer. But in the WA State & B.C. winters I've traversed so far it's up to more than the task.

Hehehee, for some. But I've got a 16 year old, 5hp, 2 stage tracked snow blower from Sears that helps. But 64.5 years of Earth's gravity seems to be the biggest problem... :frown:

PS The automatic ($$$) link to Sears...

I thought the DWS comes with a 5/50k manufacturer warranty? Why does everyone complain they go out so quickly. Wouldnt you get a prorated replacement?

Perhaps, if they couldn't blame the car / owner (alignment / balancing / whatever) and say it was an uneven wear pattern. I could be wrong, but my understanding of treadwear warranties is that they're pretty much useless for anything other than gauging how long the tire should last in nearly ideal circumstances.
