Best Possible LEDs for Signals/Brakes?

I have Amber LEDs in my front signals, but light output sucks. I haven't purchased any more LEDs yet, but I'd like to get some for the Brake/Signals in the tail lights.

Every website and eBay auction says they have the brightest LEDs, but from experience, I know they're full of crap.

Anyone have an opinion/suggestion on where to get the brightest LEDs?

The problem with led's compared to convential bulbs is that yes, led's are bright looking straight on, but they don't shine in all directions. Lightlens.com has many different led's, wedge shape and others that have multiple led's that shine in all directions, further utilizing the reflectors and mirror projectors inside the blinker/taillights, so you get a much better, all around shine.

Some interesting stuff, I don't see any good options (at least better than autolumination) for tailight or blinker applications though. And cheaper isn't always better, I've experimented with a lot of LED's in my time and most of the time it's worth it to pay a bit more for good quality bulbs!!

As for my domes/interior I am running all Luxer LED's they are by far the best that I have seen.

Oh and here's my front signal LED's again from autolumination, they are called switchbacks:



They are white as a parking lights and then blink amber when you signal:

Are your signal bulbs on when the parking lights are on? The only way mine turn on are when the signals flash. I like the switichback idea, but would it work with mine?

Yes, Mine are dual function. So probably not for you but some of the other lights they offer are super bright as well...

Is it possible to rewire my signals to make them light up with the rest of the parking lights? (Because I want those switchbacks - they're sexy)...
