When GPS systems were first becoming big I bought one. It was a $415 Garmin, which can now be found at your local Dollar Tree in the discount bin. Now it's a bit outdated and is so large it doesn't even fit in the glove box all too well so it's time to upgrade.

Really don't want to spend a fortune on this one though, but I would like the bluetooth option, so does anyone have any recommendations? I was considering this one: http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-2...t_top

I'm also interested in doing a quasi-permanent mount where the base would always be powered when the car's on and stationary, but the GPS can be taken down so no one smashes the window and takes it. I saw someone did a mount to the air vent, does anyone else have a how-to anywhere else on the dash?

I have a Garmin Nuvi 205w mounted to my Ruckus.

I love it.
