What is the best spot to run my amp power wire (8 AWG) to the engine compartment/battery in a 1998 Y33 Q45. Thanks.

Well, I just ran my 0 gauge today through my 89 240sx, but should be relatively similar.

You should run it through the driver's side w/ the other power wires. Avoid the passenger since your ECU is probably over there.

Some ppl like to run it under their car, but 8 gauge is so small I don't see the need for it.

You can also probably reuse a hole already drilled (and probably covered up by a rubber boot) in your engine bay on the firewall.

When I did it, it was a lot easier after stripping out the driver side lower plastic trim & removing the driver's seat - much more room to work w/.

The engine compartment and under the dash inside the car is pretty covered up and I didnt notice any rubber grommets for running the wire. Does anyone know of any good sports specific to the Y33 Q45 to run the wire while avoiding drilling, thanks.
