Anyone know the best (IE, cheapest) place to get the z32 brake upgrade with either rebuilt or reconditioned calipers? I'd go to the junkyard, but I want to get calipers that I know will work properly, thus the reconditioned or rebuilt idea.

Get some junk ones at a junkyard, And use them as a core and get some rebuilt ones. I dont remember how much this cost but you get fully rebuilt calipers, You turn them in to Autozone or someplace like that.

So you're saying an autozone type place will sell rebuilt calipers if you supply the cores? Any idea how much this runs?

i got a set of TT aluminum calipers and crossdrilled brembos from a junkyard.paid 150$ and they didn't need rebuilt.you could also try and use your stock brakes as a core.just don't try it at a parts store that you frequent.

Well, I've decided to see if i can go the junkyard route. What do model/year do I need to ask around for if I want aluminum calipers, preferably the 30mm? Also, I assume new rotors are necessary for both their width and diameter?
