Looking for the best place on the east coast to pick up an SR20 Blacktop, I know that im gonna have to go either to NJ or Canada and that doesnt bother me. I just wanna know the most reliable place to pick it up since I dont wanna have it shipped. If anyone knows the best place to pick one up please let me know. Thanks!

Jhot Imports is who I have used for almost 5 years for motors SR and RB alike. I also use to use Jarco but they stopped doing permance motors.

There's a video on youtube saying why not to buy from jdm engine depot. I ordered mine from JDM-Online.com. Suppose to be here Thursday. If you're patient, I'll let you know how it turns out. Plans are to install it this weekend. They do compression tests and take numerous pictures of the exact engine they're shipping you. Driftboy got his engine from them also. He's got a build thread stashed away somewhere on here. OH. Forgot to mention... They're located in Montreal, Canada.

Well, Nesar at jdm-online is AWESOME.. I did my swap but am now having other issues. Not jdm-online's fault by any means. My cas got damaged during shipping and I decided it wasn't worth the trouble to reject it, so I signed for it. This was the shipping company's fault for damage and mine for accepting it, so it was NOT Nesar's fault. He told me to try it out and see how it works. It didn't because the wheel inside was badly warped. He replaced it for the price of shipping. Apparently when I changed my CAS I moved something and have now caused a wire to short out that is causing me to keep blowing my 75amp alternator fuse... I'm pretty sure it has to do with my battery relocation. But from what I could tell before this issue. The motor was cranking VERY SMOOTHLY. My valve train looked nice when I removed the valve cover. No signs of handling abuse to the motor besides the busted CAS. Either way, definitely check them out. They inspect everything for you, and upload pics and sometimes videos. Hell, they even recommend what they would change after the inspection.
