Best place to find a rear axle?

Nobody stocks it (or even has it in their systems) I checked Pep Boys, Autozone, O'Reillys and Advanced Auto....nothing!

My mechanic said the best thing would be to rebuild it. I seen some used ones going for $70-80 on Ebay and I'm debating going that route. Any ideas?

Also, is it easy to install it?

Use a G37 axle, many years are the exact same thing. Shoot maybe even a G35 axle would be the same.

Oh, and yes it is very easy to install.

I dont know for sure about the G35x, but I do know some G37 model axles do fit our M35's and are exactly the same. You should get under your car and take some pictures of the axle size and bolt pattern where it bolts up to the differential, then compare that to what you see for other Infiniti's online, I bet it will share with a lot of model G's. The spline count on the other end should be the same for all similar model G and M35's. Ill try and see if my axles from the G37 have model numbers stamped into them or not, then you would know at least one of the models to look for.
