Hello all,I'm new to the forums.

I searched, and couldn't find a definiative answer on this one:

Where is the best place, to buy a Pulsar GTi-R turbo, and how much SHOULD it cost, and how long should it take to get it.

I've seen prices from 450-690, but no contact information.

From what I've read, modifications to put this turbo on the car are few, new oil line, coolant line, (steel braided stuff?) correct? I'm not nessecarily going to be putting on myself, and I'm wondering how difficult some of these things are to do/source.

What of the "other" bits, eg, fuel, computer, tuning, etc. is it 450-690 to start, and then another grand or more to make run properly, or its it ok with stock everything?

I also have a few general questions for those kind enough to offer advice.

I'm debating between this turbo and simply fixing, and slightly upgrading my stock T25, My hp goals are like 210-220whp or so just I want to be able to run it w/o major worries. (as both the turbo and motor are blown at this point! Getting them rebuilt/upgraded/fixed...) Can my stock T25, if I keep it, get me to 210-220whp, or will that be pushing it? I like stock coz its easy/safe, but if its pointless, so be it.

Thanks guys.

the CAs 2 biggest weakness' (besides the new one that SCC stated which was the head bolts and gasket about 300hp) are the turbo and the SMIC. They both SUCK.

I bet it could get you to that power goal, but it wouldn't last.

IMO, you don't need a GTiR turbo, just get a S15 T28 BB, that's a nice upgrade, and I don't think it'll hurt spool up time any. But you will need some fuel and DEFINITELY a FMIC of some kind to get to 220.

Thanks, I'll do some more searching in regards to what upgrades are nessecary/work the best as far as fuel goes. I have planned, fuel pump, sard FPR, and that was going to be it. for now.

I have an FMIC right now actually.

Isn't the S15 T28 bb a PITA to install, or impossible to install on the stock manifold?

not from what I've read around here, it still uses a T2 flange, but I believe the downpipe must be manufactured, maybe teh S15 one can be used.
