Best place to buy parts for the 720

As the title says where is the best place to buy parts? I'm most likely gonna need a new bed in the future and i currently have no tailgate…

My luck has been trawling Craigslist for people parting them out (generally with a bad headgasket or collision damage, those are the only things that can kill these trucks), and checking in at the local pick-a-part junkyards fairly often, you'd be surprised at their turnover rate sometimes.

As far as a bed goes, your best bets are probably gonna be either of those, or scabbing together a flatbed yourself if that kind of thing appeals to you. Finding a good bed is sort of a needle in a haystack though, your choices tend to be "Rust" and "More rust"

If you fill out your location it would help people know if you are close to help. I just scrapped a 720 bed last weekend it maybe could have been yours but I have no idea where you are.

All I know is that shipping on a bed would probably end up being more than the bed is worth. Look for something close and have patience, I spent about 2 months looking for the front end of my truck with nothing turning up at all, then suddenly there were three trucks in the span of a week and I got to take my pick.

Call it playing the odds. The world is a big place, the odds of a random ebay listing being in the same town as a random person from the internet are rather low.
