Yes I'm looking for one other than Steam because frankly a lot of the titles they have there are overpriced and some don't even work correctly. I noticed that there are numerous other places that offer purchasing and downloading of games. Does anybody have experience with some? I'd say that one I'd be looking for is where you truly own the game after you download it. Where you can download mod files to change it etc.

^Yes, because advocating theft openly on the internet is a great way to conduct yourself.

EA Link runs something simmilar but its pretty much exclusive to EA titles unfortunately.

Gametap?

Or Wii Virtual Console, lol.

I have a butt-ton of old console and arcade ROM's, if you'd be interested in anything like that, although I'm not 100% sure where all the CD's are.

I tried gametap but didn't like it. The games you download are protected so they're not really your games and you can't mod them. They also run slower because you have to invoke it through their software.
