hey guys hopefully i can get an answer before 9:00 am tomorrow but i just wanted to know which pistons you guys recommend for kat. Im rebuilding my motor this coming week and i already got eagle rods. My mechanic can get wiseco, ross and i think arias. out of those three which do you recommend and if there is another brand that you guys think is better please let me know. thanks guys. looking for 8:5:1

All would be a good choice--they all have different specs so you should buy based on your build--I used CP for our KA and was very happy with their product.

AGreed ^^ I bought Ross because a friend was selling them. They are all very good choices. Chances are, you're not looking for more then 750WHP so all of them will work well. If I were looking to break records, then I'd ask for a specific opinion.

well i went ahead and went with the wiseco 8:5:1 and Arp Head Studs. Next week ill be getting eagle rods and arp rod bolts and main studs. Thanks for the responses guys i just needed an answer quick to order my pistons i only have till next wednesday to use the torque plate. thanks again.

Take them your piston spec sheet.

I am going with Wiseco as well..

will do thanks. What power goals are you building your motor for? I just want to be able to run 13's from what ive read this build will be able to hold. Turbo system im going to run is the greddy kit ( i know most ppl would choose differ) but my friend has it on his s14 and it runs great. Thats really the only ka-t ive riden in lol not many 240's were i live, the ones that are here are just ricers.

130+mph trap speeds..

You could hit 13s on 5psi man... You don't need power for good ETs.. Just good traction.

I'm not building my engine anytime soon. I'm gonna try for as much power as I can on the stock block.

i forgot about that brand. were can you find those at?? i went to AMS, 240sxmotoring .
