Im gunna buy a 1992 Nissan 300zx with 171k miles on it, after a full service i'm going to be looking to get some more power out of mine. in all areas. Mines an automatic so it's already down on power. so im looking to get about 200hp. the mods i had in mind were some
Ebay mufflers i have a link if you are interested
megan racing strut bar
brake rotors and pads all around

IDK what else I can do? I'm not super mechanic savvy but i can do normal bolt on, i was thinking a pop charger (short ram intake) form andys auto sports but since we have a stock cold air intake in the z32 will it make a difference? my budget is about $250 dollars max, any help is greatly appreciated :) thanks!

Since its an NA, the best performance upgrades you can do are Brakes and Suspension, then wheels. Yes you can get a catback exhaust and cone air filter (pop charger) and you may pick up 5hp or so but upgrading the suspension will make the biggest difference in how the car drives/feels. $250 isn't nearly enough for that though so I would suggest saving up.

Oh and a strut bar shouldn't even count as a mod, but to each their own lol

The best performance "mods" you can do is just bring it to factory spec w/ fresh fluids, factory spark plugs, maybe grab a few new sensors, new fuel injectors, new fuel filter, clean out gas tank and maybe a new fuel pump....as far as after market...maybe metal intake piping for smoother airflow...other than that stick with suspension mods

what about mufflers? And i will, suspension and brakes. i plan on doing a complete sevince maybe not quite cleaning the fuel tank. but fuel filter and fresh fluids forsure. im glad the fuel filter is accessible in the z lol w

Exhaust upgrade wouldn't hurt...bigger piping and highflow cats

i live in cali, a high flow cat would most likely be illegal. how about a pop charger?
