c-kwik hit the nail on the head. stock pedals work fine and are great for practice to master the technique before you buy aftermarket pedals. brake with the ball of your right foot on the brake pedal. have your right foot heel planted at an angle so you can hit the gas pedal with the outer side of your right foot. now when you are matching revs, brake with the ball of your foot and push your right knee down towards the dash and your foot should roll onto the gas and match the revs. Time this with your double clutching and you're all set. you will find that as you start braking harder and harder into your turns and get into really agressive heel-toe that the planted heel of you right foot will start coming off the ground more, but this is a little bit more advanced and takes more control. Of course practice makes perfect with heel-toe. also find a cheap pair of athletic shoes with the thinnest soles possible as they will allow you better feel on the pedals (i use a pair of oldschool pumas that are a half size too small, so the fit is tight, but gives you great feel). Don't really know what size your feet are or how wide, but I am a size 11 with normal width i guess and ive never had a problem heel-toeing using stock pedals in any car. Just some cars brake pedal and gas pedal feels are different, so that takes a little time to adjust to the feel, but once the technique is down it's a lot easier to adjust to different cars quickly. hope this helps!
