Sitting and watching TopGear while breezing through a traffic test with all the answers in front of me = Awesome
Sitting in traffic school with a monotone instructor = x_x

Jona, it depends what you want. If the defensive driving course is required for insurance or ticketing purposes, I'm sure there are plenty of quick inexpensive on line courses available that are Texas state approved.

If you want to learn to be a better driver, then in-car instruction is best, but likely much more expensive.

I've taken Defensive Driving like 3x's and everytime, I opt for the classroom. Why? Because up here in DFW, you can take them at a comedy club. Yeah, you're there for 6 or so hours on a Saturday, but you're getting entertained by a professional comdian who gives you the answers to the test. Plus, there always at least one hot chick with loose morals there.
