I've been saving for a while and i have about 2 grand on my hands, Im trying to drop my 1/4 or 1/8th times as much as i can with this money. I want to keep the power down low as much as I can because its an automatic. any input on my choices would be cool

-4.375 gears from 4x4 parts (stock is 3.7)
-higher stall converter
-pdm racing ecu tune
-custom high lift cam around .500 lift

does anybody know where i can find aftermarket valve springs that will allow me to get a cam like that?
what kind of improvements do you think I can see from this?
and can you get a auto ka24e n/a to run 13's ?

For the nissan trucks there is no cheap good power gains. Short of NOS or turbo, you are not going to see a big power gain any other way. 13's with out a major deal is probably not possible. 13's would require a big power boost and turbo or NOS is probably the cheapest fastest way to power gains you will need to do that.

You can boost it, yes. I'm not sure about the auto transmission. The stock cam and lifters are good for some boost, so leave them alone unless you have spoken to other ka24e-t owners and know for sure.

I would say that ARP head studs with a Fel-Pro head gasket and forged pistons on stock con-rods could easily make 265whp with a modestly sized turbo on a JGS log manifold. Of course, larger injectors and tuning would be something to deal with, also, but for internals you should be safe with stock rods to 300whp if you have a good tune with no detonation.
