dude why would u caulk the air filter, i just used zip ties. An definatly the best mod for free is disconnecting your exhaust.

aiv dont do anything power wise. No you hafta disconnect it after the cat. I did some experimenting an that seems to work tha best.

Aiv does give you reliable power though...And intakes out of duct tubing are the best, but it will cost you more than a dollar cause you have to use duct tape...

I agree with whoever said driver skill. Too many ppl with the most tricked out cars and the least driving skills. What's the point of doing performance mods if you don't have the means of using them. Who cares if you have a thousand dollar suspension set up and you never use it.Although for a dollar, you probably buy 1/2 a gallon lol, which is about 10-15 miles.

I say buy gas too.

10 miles should easily get you to a chick's place. No money is needed beyond that, only some game .

Not to mention far more gratifying than caulking your air filter... :rolleyes

well, if u dont have any skill and dont want to practice, save that dollar for an STI. my friend has one, and the mother drives itself. my dog can clip off some fast lap times in that beast....-Enzo

I dont think hes broke enogh to not beable to buy a dollars worth of gas. Id go with the cowl hood. Its only 35 cents and you can buy a used condom with the rest.

I was gonna say this is the best idea yet, but he probally has a pen laying around so then he should use the dollar to buy gas to get to a business to fill out an application.

A poor person shouldn't be wasting money on mods. I'd say the best $1.00 investment you could make would be setting correct air pressure in all your tires, (air pump around here cost between $.25 and a $1.00 for 2 minutesr). Anything left over use on gas. I wouldn't bother with any of the choices at the top,And Altiman's "worst reply ever" happens to be correct.

thought air for motor vehicles was free? just go in and ask them to turn on the compressor least in my area.

I would say go out and buy a mod sticker or two, then someone will sure think the car is fast will think your faster. But for the poll go with the air intake cut off.
