So I've asked around and no one has a clear answer. I wanna know which strut/spring combo goes best for the 96 Maxima. I was looking into the Illumina kit or a Koni/H&R combo but i dont want a huge drop cause I live in NYc and drive fast (lots of bumps and potholes).

H&R would be a good spring choice. Just don't cheap out on shocks. I'd go with illuminas or modified konis. I went with blues and they're alright if you just want a shock that will last with a drop but the dampening isn't close to correct for a lowering spring. That being said most people probably wouldn't notice the difference. As long as you don't use your stock ones you'll be better off IMO.

Thanks for the help guys I went with the Eibach and Illumina setup. I'll let you know about the ride once I have them installed.

Nice choice. That spring should really help you out in the handling department.
