Well I'm onto my turbo setup. So what is a good maifold for my SOHC (yeah i said it)? So far I've liked RealNissans manifold, but unsure if I should go with the log or the tube. Any other suggestions or opinions? Thanks.

log isnt bad. It all depends on your goals. Equal length runners are nice and will usually net you a few horsies.

Whatever your budget is man.

Yeah on the Realnissan site they have the log manifold at $400 and the tubular maifold at $300. Don't think the tube is equal length, but why would the log cost more, because of material? Eventually, down the line I want big hp numbers (like 400-500), I know a log manifold can do this so I'm not worried. Just wondering if anyone thinks the Realnissan is the best bang for the buck or if there is one that is better.

log manifolds work fine. they will support 400-500hp

Check with http://www.import-autoperformance.com I think Marc sells em' for the KA-E as well. Equal length owns log any day ;)

Yeah Nathan those look nice, I'd spare the extra $150 for that. The black powder coat is pimp too.

Yeah, be careful putting it on though, I dinged a bit of it off on mine (of course, I'm not very careful and if I'd just wrapped some masking tape around my tools or something it wouldn't have happened. He also recently dropped the prices I just noticed, thats pretty cool since people have been griping about the old 650 price since they were released.

Nathan did you have this manifold to compare to a previous one that you had (fitment, spool, hp, etc.)? Or did you buy this from the start?

Actually, I am on my second IAP manifold, I found a problem with the fitment of the first one (runners didn't line up perfectly with the exhaust ports) and so I told Marc about it and got a whole new, upgraded manifold, which configuration and build is now the new version they put out for the KADE :) So, while I have a DE and know the fitment is perfect, I cant tell you about the E. I also cannot compare it to any other KA-T manifolds as this is my first. Also, if you do get it, check with Marc about which turbine housings will work, I had to switch from a Garrett 4 bolt outlet .63 a/r T3 housing to a precision turbos 5 bolt outlet .63 a/r T3 housing because of a clearance issue with the bmc. I dont know if this is the same for the KA-E manifold though, so make sure you know in advance :)
