Stillen Type III, and you can find them from pretty much any of the common vendors: conceptz, Z1, etc...

No one else posted it and this pic that I posted on the first page of this thread is the only one I could find...

Can someone please point out to my untrained eye as to why that Z32 is supposed to be so great? Looks pretty stock to me with some kind of modded front lip, some BBS' with tiny lips and some nice side skirts. What am I missing here?

It's clean i guess, but I'm not a fan of yellow. Nor do i think it's any nicer or mor special than say... my car. wheels and a drop, although it has a lip and skirts. But thats nothing new. I want to do something unique with my car, but money and time is an issue.

It's execution. I absolutely love that Z. Its all in the details and how clean it is. Sure, anyone can copy that, but has anyone? I don't think so. And those wheels have tiny lip because of how they're made I believe. Yeah it doesn't have crazy lip, but imo it doesn't have to. It would actually take away from the car I think.

Guys remember, originality doesn't just come from having rare parts on rocking them first. I mean I could put all the raresr parts on my car and sure, it'll be original, but not in a good way. Originality also comes in how you execute the look of a car. And execution on that yellow Z is spot on.

Would I build a z that way? Nope. Not my style. Doesn't mean I can't appreciate that car. And takethewall, not to be mean, but that yellow z is much much nicer than yours. Its more complete

Besides a front bumper and side skirts, I don't really see the difference (other than delicious BBS wheels ) Granted, that is the only picture I've seen of the car, and I imagine performance wise it is far beyond mine. But styling wise, I don't see it. I like the car and respect what he's done, but I don't see it being terribly unique (as with my car, other than wicked clean original paint)

Like I said, it's the execution, the whole package.

+1 for execution... There is something to be said for clean, tasteful modification.

Like Edgar said it's clean. He has made the stillen lip look stock on his car, if you look you dont see a seam anywhere like you usually do. No badges stickers to distract the eye, no peeling window trim that most z's have etc. I could go on more but simply put it's beauty is in it's simplicity/execution like mentioned the blended in lip, painting the ic inlets etc. Someone who didn't no the z32 would likely think it stock. To you it's boring and plain cause it's not slammed and super aggressive, in a sense screaming for attention. takethewall other than your wheels your car has nothing on it no offense.

Those are Volk LE-37's... they're like the evolution of the old TE-37's. even more baller. Like TE-37's with a lip...

I don't know about the aero on that silver car though. Looks fugly...

Been awhile since I talked to him at motorsport. He is on tein coils lowered all the way, not sure what his wheels size offsets are but I know he is running spacers as they were not that flush last time I saw the car. Wheels are volk gt-c's.

^^^ Thanks! Generally, I don't like the use of spacers, but I can't argue the sexiness of that fitment! I'd love more pics if you can dig some up?
