i had a blast and i'm glad i made the trip out, despite feeling under the weather and the weather in general. it was fun talking to the hard core local crew again as always and meeting others for the first time like Repo man. i wanted to talk to more but i would get caught up in talk about cars time would fly by...i probably chit chatted with brian(97 gold I30) for 45 minutes. before i knew it the cold had sunk into my bones and my head ache and sinuses were saying it's time to go home..(girlfriend)anyway, maybe with these kinds of turn outs and people coming from everywhere we should start naming this a mid-east coast meet.

You are right.

I was thinking about that too.It was certainly more of a regional meet.On teh otehr hand Kentucky meet identifies a location too, like you can have a Kentucky derby and it more than just Kentucky wide.

But this is certainly worth some thought.Maybe we should canvass soem of our out-of-state attendees what their thoughts are.

Also I am glad you had fun.I can still vividly remember your surprised almost shocked look, when you rolled in, and you saw the whole bunch of us lined up in a convoi with our hazards on, waiting on you to join in..iFred...:)

I think we should still call them KY meets, due to the fact that the location will most likely be in KY and most of the attendees are from the bluegrass state.;)

I can say that the Indiana contingent had fun as well. I wish we all could have made it out to the track to race. But the hospitality of our hosts was great and it’s always good to get away from wives and girlfriends to talk about cars from time to time. Major props go to the parents who showed up to the meet in order to let their son’s participate. My parents would have probably laughed at me for doing something like this when I was that age. (I drove a 1984 Caprice Classic, so the only meets in town I could attend would involve cops at the doughnut shop.) Here were some of my highlights from this meet:

1. Drifting on the entrance ramp to I-465. Hey Repoman, didn’t think an Altima could do it, eh?2. Listening to hlh0501's turbo spool up after launching his Maxima.3. Flying down I-65 to Bowling Green and looking in the rear-view mirror at Mayhem’s J-30 and thinking “That thing looks baddddd!”4. Being named Repoman’s father in Fred’s AAR (After Action Report). That would have made me 1 year 1 month old when I fathered him (its that new Enron math). Hey Andy, does this mean I get your dad’s ’87 Buick Grand National now?

Welp, I am sure glad that I took the Altima and not the 240. With all the rain we got in Southern Indiana and in Kentucky, I would have ended up as a permanent casualty to the I-65 median. Just let us know when the Kentucky meet is, we will be there.Late,Bud

Once again thanks and Ben thanks for the Help on getting the wheels and the healights clean on the car oh and one more thing tell your dad thanks for letting you drag him all over this weekend
