I'l be cutting down an E intake manifold (FWD version) for ITB's of my own design, a large plenum with a 3" inlet (and same sized piping to my Z32 MAF) will be sealing the manifold in preparation for boost.

Does anyone know the optimum length of the runner i should use?

I've mucked around with the calculator on THIS page, but 20" of runner length seems a little too long for 2nd order harmonics between 5500 and 7000rpm.

SCV gear has been deleted on this manifold, and the engine will be retaining stock rpm limiter.

11 inches realistically, with about 44mm inner diameter of the runner is optimal to keep a ka in good range (full powerband, all the way to 7000). On my setup, i can go from 9-11 inches depending on which velocity stacks i decide to use that day . If i still have your email, which i think i do, i shoot you some info/pics etc... here in a bit.

I'd like some info too

shoot me a line @ [email protected]

I'll be tackling a similar project soon..

btw... isn't 44mm inner diameter too much for the low revving ka?
