Anyone know what aftermarket injectors have the best spray patterns, durability and can handle high psi for long term usage ? I've seen some on ebay but I don't know what kind of quality is used in their manufacturing. I'm looking for between 550cc/800cc injectors so I won't max them out ever again, maybe. Lol.

deatschwerks seems to be a preferred company on this forum for injectors. Although I have not had any experience with upgrading the sizes the 370s I replaced have been flawless for 100k+. They have had some discounts from time to time for nico members.

I believe deatschwerks resells the BWD injectors, if memory serves. The good thing is that their injectors are new, they used to sell "reconditioned" ones, which was OK but with ethanol it probably stopped working out as good for them.

Thanks guys, I emailed them as I didn't see any 550cc injectors sets of 8 for the Q45. I like the fact they have a 3 year warranty, that's pretty damn good.

They won't list them for the Q, but obviously the 300ZX/SR injectors will fit in the Q45 fuel rail.

Yeah I seen that, but I think they only have those flow matched in sets of four or six from what I read. Unless I am wrong. I just didn't want to order two sets of four that aren't flow matched the same as all 8.

I don't remember ever getting confirmation on that, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I recently bought an injector from Deatsch, and I know 100% they are brand new, not reconditioned like they used to be. I think I read somewhere they're BWD. IMO Deatschwerks knows Nissan fuel injectors, so if they're brand new they're probably going to be pretty dang good.

They just emailed me back and said they will sell me 8 flow matched, now if I am buying injectors I want to make sure I get the right size ones so I won't have to upgrade again. I'm planning on eventually making around 600hp N/A so I don't know if 550cc injectors will be enough? I've maxxed out these stock ones from my intake setup, so the car is just to lean to make good power all over but mostly before 4500rpm because of the stock fuel mapping it's too lean.

Will 550cc injectors be enough for 600hp?

how do you plan to reach 600hp naturally aspirated? i would imagine even with custom grind cams and building the bottom end, port/polish heads.. and full standalone tuning the most would be around 500. Of course, that's doing no research on my end.

Going to take some magic lol. Will probably be awhile until I get it to anywhere near there. But 500crank hp I don't think is as hard as everyone may think, 600 lol that's going to take me some serious time but I think I can do it. I know it's no Ferrari but the 458 makes some damn good numbers and it's only a 4.5L .

Time will tell.

Ever thought about putting ITB's on the VH?

I have, but the more I researched plenum designs the more I like them. If a plenum is designed properly it can actually have a +psi buildup inside. That's where the Qs stock intake plenum really holds it back, it's way to small. I've got a intake designed out of cardboard so I could know the size, shape, volume correctly. Should work pretty damn good when I get time to build it, but that would do almost nothing until I get the exhaust done.

New plenum design huh? Wonder how that looks, there's some pretty badass looking ones out there on the net. If I'm not mistaking someone makes em here on NICO (think In the fabricators market). Personally I rather go with ITB's although they're gonna cost stupid money. After seeing and hearing this video it pretty much set my mind in stone

Ya I've seen that video before. Even if I went itbs I would still need to design something that would help it build psi. The farrari 458 has no itbs and makes serious power. Maybe on a F1 car with a scoop because of the psi buildup at 150-200mph would be good, but on the street and 1/4 I think a properly designed plenum is best. I've seen some people's designs for the VH and they are quite laughable. . If you post pictures of some I'll easily point out the bad points.

Unsure if the replacement injectors I bought from deatschwerks were remans or new. Was almost 5 years ago and I think they were much cheaper maybe under $300 for the 8. 3 year warranty!?! I think I got a 1 year! Have run them for 100k flawlessly thought. I thought I would run my Q to the ground by 300k but 400k here we come! If they offer 3 years go bigger!

N/A Q45 What is your name so we know it. I honestly envy your persistence with your Q and respect it. As I/we can only ask if you can provide some more pics. In my opinion do NOT skimp on injectors and go upward toward 700cc and north. Nothing wrong with spending a few more bucks if your going for a super mod.

Again, PICS!

It's Benjamin-

And pics of what exactly? The cardboard design I have for a plenum? :rotfl it is really nothing to look at but tape and cardboard+ I like to always be the first in everything so I will have no problems posting pics of my intake when it is done. And I think I'm going with their 810cc injectors, it's very easy to lean them out but a injector can only do so much, the stock 370s are spose to be good for 450hp ish from a injector calculator and I've maxxxed them out bad, the 550s are spose to be good for 600hp but the biggest rule of thumb when building a engine is don't build with things at the max when you can use something a step up, always good to have some adjustment. Just have to save up some $ those 810s aren't cheap
