check this out fellow Gun Buddies, SIGARMS has recently release their totally American designed and made 1911, it includes such sweetness as a Caspian made Slide and Frame (both stainless steel) factory utility rail, under 1 1/2 accuracy at 25yrds (with Winchester Whitebox!!!) and made to very tight, but reliable tolerances:D

check it out, it still retains a SIG Sauer (no Sauer in this one though, it's USDM if you will) look.

I like SIG, but not sure if I'd buy a 220 series gun, don't much care for the price in comparison to some other autos, especially lighter polymer guns. Still very well built guns though.

my Uncle's 239 is pretty cool though, shoots nice and is small (a little too small for my hands though:()
