Best gear ratio for CA18DET?

I've googled enough and found some info but not enough.

CA18DET = 4.36

SR20DET= 4.08

95-96 Infiniti J30= 3.96 (cheap option but too tall)

........can't find what the stock is on US 240SX!!!

What would be a better gear set for 1/4 mile???

I'm pretty sure stock KA is 4.08 also, thats what I seem to recall. Could be wrong tho, don't have the FSM in front of me..

Interesting that the CA's is so much higher.. thats almost a 7% difference.. I wonder if the speedo sensor was meant for that.. of course I can just swap the KA one in I'm sure.

The size tires you have on your car will make a muuuuch bigger difference in the gearing than the final drive. Haha, right now I have the 4.363 with 205/50/15 Azenis. It's pretty quick ^_^

SR/KA = 4.083 to be exactGet the highest # you can for 1/4 mile runs. (within reason ofcourse)
