Metroid 3!!!!!!

It's an SNES title with thicker atmosphere than most modern games. Eerie, dark, with brilliant soundwork, and perhaps the most effective use of corpses in any game ever. No blood, no gore, just dead guys and something not right.

I can't find any videos with the whole intro.
Watch the first 40 seconds of this one:

Then start this one:

No blaster master? With one of the most fantastically ridiculous story lines ever? I love that game. Am I the only one?

Although Lighthouse by Sierra was wicked fun, especially after the intro.

Yes! The greatest game of all time! +1 for Ocarina of TIme
Edit: I literally just went a relived my childhood memories of Zelda; Ocarina of Time. Man I miss my childhood and the simplicity of it, makes me kind of depressed when stories so good as this end.

X2

I don't know why, but I just love the music on FF3. Also, Ocarina of Time is quite possibly one of the greatest games ever made.

I must say, I really loved the FFX intro. It was one of the first games I got for my PS2 and when I saw that opening cutscene I was blown away. Really, I still think it looks pretty good. (Well, I guess it isn't technically the intro, but the first big cutscene).

There's also Earthbound. That game changed my life lol.

and last, but not least, Zelda: A Link to the Past. I was pretty young when I played this and (although it is pretty epic) I thought it was the greatest game to have ever existed.

It's off topic, but I felt compelled to share this with everyone. I lol'd.

I prefer the RA1 intro, also for nostalgia and epicness.

Sigh...effing Ocarina fanbois. Almost as bad as FFVII fanbois. Ocarina can't possibly be the greatest game of all time, because it isn't even the greatest Zelda game. Windwaker, Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, and Twilight Princess are superior to Ocarina.

Without a doubt in my mind this is the best game and had the best scenes. Metal Gear Solid 4. I found myself playing this game over and over especially after playing the Shadow Moses part.
