Best fun and reliable car for 10k

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

I'm looking for a fun/sporty, reliable car for about 10k. I also prefer a sedan. So far the only car I've managed to find are the B15 Sentra SE-R Spec Vs (2002-2006). I can get an 05 or 06 Spec V with around 20-35k miles for about 10k, it sounds pretty good but I'm wondering if there are better alternatives to this. Also I would like to know what you guys think about the Spec V's performance and reliability.

Thanks

Yes I do quite like Nissans haha, but I was just looking to see if theres any other good cars in this price range. I've noticed some higher milage Civic Sis and Imprerza WRXs are also in this price range. But I think I like the idea of a low milage newer sentra.

I am leaning towards the sentra. How quick would a spec v be with a nice CAI, Header and exhaust? How much hp to the crank? I think I'd like an 05 or 06. The only thing is, I am a bit worried about the reliability issues with the QR25, any advise on that?

Thanks

Wrx's are going for about 7k around here. Insurance is still insane on these things. Same for a Civic SI. The SE-R should be fine provided you make sure all the recalls have been done, have an aftermarket header and have had Locktite put on the Butterfly screws.
