I'll b swapping an SR into my 93 Fastback next month. But, before I do - I was just wondering which fuel pump is the best to upgrade with.

Every1 seems 2 be using the Walbro 255lph pump. Why is that? Has any1 had any experience with the Blitz Fuel Pump or maybe upgarding to a Supra TT fuel pump?

My buddiez use the Supra TT on their WRXs...Has any1 done this w/ an SR20DET?

I jus wanted 2 see wut other people have used other than Walbro....Something different that works just as well? Any ideas?Brand wise...?

Walbro = cheap

Blitz = overkill

Tomei = most $ but supposedly it's really good

Z32 = what i'm using

The Walboro is very popular because it is reliable, cheap, flows alot and it is a direct bolt in.

What are the specs "lph" from the Z32 pump? Does the Blitz feed too much fuel? I'm looking for most efficient, but cost is not an issue...Let me know - help is appreciated..Thanks captain nismo n. SWIFT_DRIFT

Walbro's are so-so, cheap mainly. I've heard good reviews but I'm not super impressed with the product (this is my opinion people). The z32 pump flows slightly less then the walbro but it will support upto 750ish hp. I think the z32 flows 238lph (? not quite sure) compared to Walbro's 255lph. Also the z32 will be really loud at idle, a very noticeable buzz in the background. I love the sound, but some people might not. The Walbro is pretty quiet I hear. If we are thinking of the same Blitz pump then that thing is massive overkill. 400lph or something like that? You will definitely need a fuel pressure regulator for that beast.

How about the Tomei? Do u know the specz on that pump? I was planning on getting an FPR anyway. Just to make sure I'm flowing right. I'm interested in the Z32 cuz I haven't heard of any1 using it b4, itz kinda kool...The Walbro sounds like the most economical, but does that mean it's the best?

There's a link to the Tomei pump. Flows the same as the Walbro, but is 3 times the price. Not really worth what you get. I chose the z32 pump because it's more reliable and better built then the Walbro and a real Nissan part. If you go with the Z pump, the Walbro, or the Tomei unit you won't need to buy a FPR until you are upgrading injectors.

Right now I'm leaning towards the Z32 Upgrade or the Walbro. Another pump I didn't mention was the APEXi Fuel Pumps made for the BCNR33 and BNR32. Z's usually use this as an upgrade....What about putting it on an SR? Its $300.00 almost...Any specs on that u know of?If not I'll flip a coin and pick between Walbro n Z32...

Well after seeing pics of the R32 fuel pumps, and they look identical to the z32...I went with the z32. Also it's cheaper and will support more then enough HP in the future.

I think your having some wishful thinking if you think a 238lph pump will support 750hp. The Walbro 255lph is rated to like 490hp, not to mention that every single turbo Supra has two in-tank fuel pumps at LEAST.

Sorry, thanks for pointing that out. Should be ~550hp on the z32 pump.
