Im looking fora site with a few members running high hp in the higher 300's at least. It seems this site has much more interest in handling and drift. were im full drag. I mainly need info on seting up the oil lines for my top mount turbo and how to get rid of the coolant lines that run to it. Are there any other sites? Please dont hate as i love this site to, im just asking.

This is pretty basic information...

How about a little more background on your questions though?

Is it a dry center section turbo? Or are you attempting to just block off the water ports (not really reccomended)?

What questions did you have about setting up the oil feed line?

The turbo i plan to run precision SC61 does not use water cooling there for i will have to block of the coolant comming from the block. The turbo is also mounted in a position that the oil(feed) line will not work, so i need to konw where i can get a flexable oil line from with a banjo fitting one one side so that it still hooks right up to the block. thanks

The fittings for the block (I'm still waiting on my SR20 motor to arrive) if like most of the other Japanese blocks are NTP thread. Just take the line off, go to a hardware store with a good selection, and find threaded plugs.

What's the distance between the turbo and the oil feed port?

Re-tap the block for a normal pipe thread and stick a #4an adapter on it. Very easy and effective.

Or, even easier yet, just buy an adapter fitting from earl's.

A lot of them are 10x1.25 thread if not NPT. Earl's has a nice clean adapter fitting that goes from 10x1.25to-4.

No particles of metal make their way into the turbo at a later date this way.

Nissan uses BTP, I just chase it with an NTP adaptor.

The coolent lines are pretty easy, just cap them off, or stick a bolt in the hole in the block, and the one going around the back of the motor can be crimped shut and welded. OR you could just route one into the other with some fuel line if you wanted to be really lazy.

I got rid of it, that was more to 'protest' sombody else's icon. I took it down after a few hours so as to not start a war.
