I just got an 89 s13 with 98 SR20det swap and was wondering what the best Fmic would be. I was thinking of HKS, but was also considering the greddy Rspl one to. I know the Greddy one doesn't come with the hot pipe, but I don't know about the HKS.

The only way to get all of the piping necessary to complete your FMIC setup is to either:

1. Piece it together with various components thru purchase or fabrication or2. Go to one of a few websites (google it) and check the FMIC kits listed (some to most do not have the hotpipe included, but some do.)

Good luck..........

OK, I think the greddy is cheaper then the hks and I doubt your looking for some kind of insane HP goals so it should do just fine. do what has been said above. I'd say buy the kit and buy what else it needed, I know enjukuracing and heavythrottle sell some good hot pipes.Good luck with ur setup.

Any decent sized front mount intercooker kits should be fine. I dont see any high HP engines running with some special intercoolers.

If that was to my post, I know the size of those wont really matter but if he was running like 700hp I bet he would want a bigger core. I think the hks is bigger then the greddy but its also more money. Either way I say go with greddy money wise but either one will be great.

There is no best FMIC. Just get a size that is 20x6x3 (core size) or larger. I use a 20x6x3 and have awesome response and run 19psi making close to 350whp. Order the bends, couplers, and clamps to make your own piping. Its very simple.

My Hybrid intercooler was reasonably priced and came with a hot pipe.
