The bellhousing will bolt up the same, the TT is just a little larger. As long as he uses a TT flywheel and clutch he will be fine. Everything else will bolt up just fine including the driveshaft, as long as ts a 5 speed. Your speedometer will be off if you still have the TT speed sensor in it.

Concept Z Performance, you can buy just the gear, its like $26 or close to it. If you keep the TT gear, it will just make your speed 5-8 mph faster depending how fast you are going. Very simple to replace, pull SS out the gear is held on by a snap ring. After taking the ring off, slide the new one on. Put SS back in.

You are going to have to lower the trans just enough to slide the SS between the body and the exhaust. Is not that hard, I have the TT sensor gear in mine with a NA rear end, I have just dealt with for now. Isn't too bad.

SZ flywheel is amazing. You can't go wrong with anything from SZ IMHO.

Yeah the SZ one looked like it would be the best option, but since money is tough at 17 i just wanted to make sure that would be a good purchase!

Manual SS are the same except the Gear at the end. Auto SS are much shorter, will not work period, not even the gear.
